About Us

The Warmblood Tack Store was founded by Jan Grimm, a Draft Cross and Warmblood enthusiast.  DLF Firestorm ("Storm") is shown below; he is a Percheron Draft Cross that stands 17.2hh and was the inspiration for the Warmblood Tack Store.  After searching relentlessly for 90" blankets and fly sheets, oversized headgear and leg protection that fit larger horses, Jan felt that there were other riders that would appreciate a tack shop dedicated to providing a selection of oversized (and hard to find) tack for the Warmblood, Draft Cross, or Small Draft horse.
